TangselNetwork.id – Wali Kota Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) Benyamin Davnie mendatangi tempat jatuh sebuah pesawat di Kawasan Lapangan Sunburst BSD, Minggu (19/5).
Atas jatuhnya pesawat ringan atau ultra light jenis Cessna itu, Benyamin mengucapkan duka cita yang mendalam terhadap keluarga korban.
“Kami atas nama pribadi dan Pemkot Tangsel mengucapkan belasungkawa yang mendalam atas kejadian pesawat latih yang jatuh di Tangsel. Kepada keluarga korban, semoga diberikan kekuatan dan ketabahan dalam menghadapi cobaan ini,” ungkapnya.
Sementara, Kapolres Tangerang Selatan, AKBP Ibnu Bagus Santoso menyatakan, pesawat tersebut jatuh dalam perjalanan kembali ke Bandara Pondok Cabe.
Pasalnya, pesawat latih itu juga sempat mengirimkan pesan mayday (tanda bahaya) sebelum akhirnya jatuh di kawasan Lapangan Sunburst BSD.
Ibnu mengungkapkan, dari tragedi ini terdapat tiga korban yang tewas, berstatus sebagai pilot, kopilot, dan engineer pesawat.
“Tujuan pertama dari Pondok Cabe, arahnya kita masih belum tahu. Informasi awal dari Tanjung Lesung mau kembali lagi ke Pondok Cabe, terus ada informasi mayday, kemudian hilang kontak,” jelasnya.
Kekinian, kepolisian bersama pihak terkait telah mengevakuasi bangkai pesawat dari lokasi kejadian.
Namun, pihak kepolisian belum bisa menyampaikan identitas korban kepada publik.
“Untuk sekarang kita serahkan kepada KNKT (Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi) untuk melaksanakan identifikasi kejadian kecelakaan tersebut,” pungkasnya.
