Sosialisasi ini bertempat di Serua Green Village, Kota Depok, Jawa Barat, Kamis (15/6/23).
Pada kesempatannya, Mahfudz memaparkan bahwa pembangunan Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) merupakan upaya pemerintah untuk mengusung pembangunan ekonomi yang inklusif.
Menurut Mahfudz, Pemilihan lokasi IKN di Kalimantan merupakan energi masa depan bagi Bangsa Indonesia.
Karenanya, penyebarluasan magnet pertumbuhan ekonomi baru tidak hanya bertumpu di Pulau Jawa semata, melainkan pulau lain juga ikut terdampak.
“Salah satu BUMN Karya yang memberikan Kontribusi terhadap pembangunan IKN adalah PT. Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk,” ungkapnya pada sesi acara.
Mahfudz menceritakan bahwa PT. Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk berdiri pada tahun 1961, dengan melalui proses nasionalisasi perusahaan asing.
Awalnya, PT Waskita Karya bernama Volker Aannemings Maatschapiij N.V.
Waskita Karya juga ternyata sudah lama mencatatkan saham di Bursa Efek Indonesia (IPO) pada bulan Desember 2012.
Berkat pengalamannya, Waskita Karya memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap pembangunan.
Berikut, beberapa kontribusi Waskita Karya yang terlaksana:
1. Pembangunan Gedung Sekretariat Presiden dan bangunan pendukung di kawasan Istana Kepresidenan IKN.
2. Proyek jalan tol IKN Segmen Simpang Tempadung – Jembatan Pulau Balang.
3. Pembangunan Jalan Kerja/Logistik IKN (KIPP) paket pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Sepaku Segmen 4.
4. Pembangunan Instalasi Pengelolaan Air Limbah (IPAL) di Kawasan Inti Pusat Pemerintahan (KIPP).
